"Clasp"

The title IS self-explanatory really.
I have been toying with this concept for nearly 20 years
but only now do I feel I have a handle on how the mechanics
and the image should work.
New materials have also helped.
The Hinge mechanism allows this piece to function
around a convex corner, inside a concave corner,
or even lie on a flat wall.
Currently on display in Buenos Aires
